Our volunteers are the best!
While our egos might be tempted to say we do it all, we really get a lot of support from the community and the people who show up to make this event a fun and relaxing event.  There were also people who gave their time before, during and after the event to make it better for everyone.

We have been working on the dome for a number of years and have run into every problem from assembly to time to money to COVID.  While assembly issues are self-inflicted, the others have caused this project to be delayed beyond belief.

First and foremost to everyone involved in the project, thank you for your patience.  We honestly have been trying to get this completed.

While not quite functional yet, the track is level and running smoother than it ever has.  The shutters open and close without sticking.  The adjustable pier works again.  The new telescope mount has been purchased, received and soon will be mounted.  The computer will soon allow remote operation so that we can remotely share the night sky.

Needless to say, this was not a weekend project but many weekends.  We thank Bill Terhune and Fred Hicks specifically and many others generally who have helped with this project.  Their time, knowledge and financial support are sincerely appreciated and remembered.
