This year, we dedicated a Meade 178ED Apochromatic Refractor Telescope that was donated by Roger "Buck" Harley and Sandy Harley to the Wabash Valley Astronomical Society and stationed at the Prairie Grass Observatory. Mr. Harley, better known as "Buck" of Buck's Gears is of declining health and chose to donate his prized telescope to the club of a friend and a fellow spirit, John Mahony. Sadly, Buck was not able to attend the dedication due to health reasons. Our thoughts, hopes and prayers are with Buck and his family.
