Friday night started out with a round table discussion where everyone was a speaker. We started with a discussion of Astronomical League Observing Clubs and then ranged far and wide in a brisk discussion. A lot of ground was covered and a lot of new thoughts had by all.

Scott Sudhoff, Purdue Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering: "Electric Motor Design for Space Applications". Scott was part of the Purdue team that developed the elbow motor for NASA's Robonaut 2.
Robert Berrington, Assistant Professor of Physics and Astronomy at Ball State University: Galaxy Evolution in the Dense Galaxy Environment.
Greg McCauley, JPL Solar Sytem Abassador: "Mars Science Laboratory". The Mars Science Laboratory, a mobile robot larger than the previous Mars rovers, is scheduled to launch in the fall of 2011.
Joel Knapper, JPL Solar Sytem Abassador: "A review of 30 years, 134 flights of the NASA Space Shuttle missions."
